Masters of Science (MSc) in Exercise & Sport Physiology - Manchester Metropolitan University.
I studied Exercise & Sport Science in 2010. This masters degree gave me further insight into the response of exercise & physical activity upon the human body. This refined my skills & knowledge regarding exercise prescription as a means of rehabilitation. Furthermore, It gave me the skills to research this ever evolving field of exercise and rehabilitation. This means I stay current with the literature to provide best practices and education to all my clients.
Bachelors of Osteopathy (BOst) in Osteopathy.
I studied Osteopathy from 2015 - 2021. Besides allowing me to register as an Osteopath this degree allowed me to learn fundamental theoretical and practical skills in regards to physical therapy. Furthermore, the degree gave me a great insight into systemic health. The understanding of systemic health allows me to diagnose conditions you may know or not know you have. If I believe your symptoms are associated to something more serious and beyond my scope of practice. Then I will refer you to the correct health care professional I.e. GP in aide of improving your physical health.
Graduate Certification in Defence Exercise Rehabilitation.
In 2020 I was awarded a Grad Cert in Defence Exercise Rehabilitation. This qualification was a result of training to become a military exercise rehabilitation instructor at the infamous Defence Medical Regional Centre Stanford Hall. This qualification provided me with a significant amount of practical / theoretical knowledge. This knowledge now allows me to meticulously apply exercise to help assist in your rehabilitation process. In addition, to making me a more diverse Osteopath in my approach to treatment.
