My passion for learning about the human body and its response to physical therapy & conditioning started when I was in college where I studied sport & exercise science. I continued educating myself with an undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise science coinciding my studies with being a fitness instructor. Continuing my passion for learning I completed a masters degree in Exercise & Sport physiology which further refined my knowledge in the physical therapy & conditioning field.
Moving away from academia I joined the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI). The PTI role allowed me to transfer my knowledge to both military personnel and recruits in aide of conditioning them to make them more physically robust for combat and their particular job roles. Continuing my career in the RAF I trained to become an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) at the UKs renown Defence Medical Regional Centre DMRC Stanford Hall. Here I was educated by leading UK military physiotherapists and exercise rehabilitation instructors. Working with injured military personnel in aide of rehabilitating them back to physical and functional capabilities was something I enjoyed and took great passion in.
The training from DMRC Stanford in conjunction with my Bachelors in Osteopathy has led me to where I am today (Allet, Truro, Cornwall).
In me, you get a professional, experienced and knowledgeable Osteopath whom will provide you with the best clinical care possible.
